Marble Hill Megalith Ground Disturbance Monitoring

Archaeological Consultancy Marble Hill, Galway

Commissioned by the owner, monitoring of ground disturbance associated with the development of a dwelling-house took place at Marble Hill, Co. Galway. There was a megalithic tomb (SMR 125:119) 80m to the east of the development and the site of a second megalithic structure (SMR 125:120) some 100m to the west. The monitoring of ground disturbance associated with this development produced nothing of archaeological significance.

Martin Fitzpatrick, 7 Ard Aoibhinn, Athenry, Co. Galway
